* Vacuum regularly with a soft upholstery attachment — dirt and body moisture can discolour fabric, and grit can wear away fibres over time
* Rotate cushions and pillows periodically to minimise wear and loss of shape
* Spot clean only, using a blotting motion and working from the outside in to minimise rings — never scrub
* Trim any loose threads with scissors rather than pulling them
* Always test any fabric cleanser or protector on an inconspicuous area first
