Care & Maintenance
* Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth — avoid rough or abrasive materials. For routine cleaning, wipe along the grain with a lightly dampened cloth, then dry immediately
* Keep away from direct heat sources (radiators, heating vents) and prolonged sunlight, both of which can cause cracking, warping, or fading
* Use coasters, mats, and felt pads under glasses, hot dishes, and decorative items to prevent rings, heat damage, and scratches
* Wipe up spills immediately to prevent moisture damage. In humid environments, consider a dehumidifier to reduce the risk of warping or peeling
* Always lift furniture when moving — never drag — and support it from underneath to avoid stress on the veneer
* If polishing, use a product designed specifically for wood veneers, applied sparingly and buffed with a soft cloth. Avoid silicone-based polishes, which can leave a dull residue over time
* Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners — use only products designed for wood furniture care

For routine cleaning, wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap solution, then dry immediately with a clean cloth — avoid excess water, which can seep into seams and cause damage over time
Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — never rub, as this can spread the stain or damage the surface
Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or rough cloths, which can scratch or peel the surface coating
Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, bleach, or alcohol-based products, as these can cause the material to crack, peel, or discolour
Keep furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as prolonged exposure can cause the material to dry out, fade, or crack over time
Avoid sharp objects such as keys or pet claws, which can scratch or puncture the surface
Do not use standard leather conditioners on PU leather, as these are designed for natural leather and may not be compatible — use only products specifically formulated for synthetic or PU leather
Always lift furniture when moving rather than dragging, to avoid stressing the seams and joints
