Fairbanks Floor Rug — 60% Bamboo Silk, 40% Jute, Handwoven Tufted Pile
The Fairbanks is a rug that rewards a second look — and a bare foot. Handwoven from a blend of bamboo silk and jute with a dense 14mm tufted pile, it brings a quiet, low-key luxury underfoot that sits apart from a standard wool or cotton rug. The bamboo silk component gives the surface a subtle sheen that shifts with the light, while the jute grounds it with natural texture and durability.
Subtle colour gradations add depth to what appears at first glance to be a simple tonal rug — the kind of detail that makes a floor feel genuinely designed rather than just covered. In a natural sand colourway, it works as a warm, versatile foundation across a wide range of interior styles.
Styling
Its generous pile and silk-jute blend make it a naturally compliment to your hallways — let the texture speak by keeping surrounding furniture in natural oak, linen, and raw ceramics. The subtle sheen of the bamboo silk catches evening light particularly well, making it a rug that looks different — and better — as the day changes.

Do not wash or dry clean. Do not use water on a viscose floor rug,
as this may cause a yellowing of the fibres. Instead, spot clean any
spills with paper towels, or a clean white cloth dipped in an acetic or
citrus solution. Viscose fibres are very absorbent, so use the solution
sparingly. Gently dab at the mark, never rub. Dry the area as quickly as
possible by placing the floor rug in a breezy or warm and dry area of
the house. For a deep clean we recommend using a skilled specialist.
Initial shedding is common as the fibres settle. Lightly vacuum
regularly using suction only. Avoid using a brush head, as this can
cause matting of the fibres. You can also shake your floor rug outside
to remove dust and dirt.
